Weird Ugly Fish to perform at the Baltic Clubnight at Jazzahead!

The biggest gathering of the jazz industry, the annual festival and conference Jazzahead!, is approaching. For the first time, the Baltic states have joined forces for the Baltic Clubnight event. Lithuania will be represented by the duo Weird Ugly Fish. Around 35 venues take part in CLUBNIGHT, held on Friday evening, every year. Clubs, bars, theatres, museums, churches and hotels become vibrant music venues.
The joint presence at Jazzahead! is coordinated by partners from the three Baltic states: the Lithuanian Jazz Union (Lithuania), Music Estonia and the Estonian Jazz Union (Estonia), and the Latvian Music Information Centre (Latvia).
The Lithuanian Jazz Union aims to promote Lithuanian jazz internationally, create new export opportunities for Lithuanian jazz musicians and expand the network of jazz associations in the Baltic region. The partners of the CLUBNIGHT programme are Zentrum für Kunst (ZkR) and Senatskanzlei Bremen (the Bremen city government). The CLUBNIGHT Baltic night is part of the 40th anniversary of the partnership between Riga and Bremen.
